# Royalties & contest economics - Just Mugs

## Definition
When a designer wins a Just Mugs contest edition, they earn a **fixed INR royalty per mug** sold on justmugs.in. The rate is published on that edition’s contest page. It is not a revenue percentage.

## Creator royalties
- Model: Fixed INR royalty per mug sold on justmugs.in (not a percentage)
- Rate: Published on each contest edition page (`https://justmugs.in/contests/[slug]`)
- Paid when: Monthly, above minimum payout threshold, after PAN + payout details (bank or UPI) are complete
- Excluded: Returns, refunds, chargebacks
- Fulfilment & payouts: Mug Factory India prints, packs, ships, and pays out

## Contest participation
- Entry fee: Free
- Cap: Maximum 30 designs per contest edition
- Entries: One design per creator per edition
- Voting: Like on the contest page during the voting window = one vote per signed-in user per drop
- Coupon: Accepted submitters may receive a single-use 15% Just Mugs storefront code (28 days), when offered
